Just Because

 Had to post these photos just because these toddlers are so cute.

 Tal loves her pink princess bear.  She goes everywhere with her always dressed appropriately.

Joneaux can't get enough of that yummy chocolate croissant and I can't get enough of him.  So sad that he lives far away.

May B'days BBQ

 Last Sunday we had a May Birthday celebration for the people here.  Sadly we couldn't include Amadeo and Rob because they live too far away.  We also got to meet Clayton, Jenna's friend.  He is very nice and we liked him a lot.  All of the little kids liked him too.

 Here is Jenna with her high heels on and below is Jenna with her shoes off to show how tall Clayton is.  They are a very cute couple and I think they really enjoy each other.

 Of course the babies wanted to blow the candle out too.  Tal was first.

 Then Reggie had a turn.

 Finally Tatum blew her candles out.  We also had to sing Happy Birthday to them, even though it wasn't close to their birthdays.   They loved it.

Katie's H.S.Grad

 Our beautiful Katie graduated from H.S. last night.  She came down the stairs looking so lovely and feeling so excited.  The ceremony went really well.

My son and his beautiful wife have done a great job raising Katie.  She is a wonderful young woman.  We are so happy to have her for a granddaughter.

Katie's Seminary Grad

 Last night we went to Katie' seminary graduation.  It was so nice and we're so pleased with our granddaughter that she finished seminary.

Her parents are so happy with her too.  She is a wonderful, bright young woman with many of talents. One of her talents is that of an outstanding artist.  It's so nice that we are able to be here to share these important days with her.

In Idaho

 We drove to Idaho yesterday for our granddaughter's graduation.  Andrea and Reggie came too.  Today is her seminary graduation and tomorrow is her high school graduation.  I just don't know how time passes sooo fast.  She was just born a couple of months ago after all. HA!

Of course no trip to Idaho is complete without a trip to Alec's office.  There he is with his faithful nurse, Lisa.  She is a sweetheart and they work well together.  Monday is black day.

 The Boise River runs right behind his office.  It is so beautiful in that location.

 Katie has some laser done on her legs.

 It's not often that a grandmother and granddaughter get to go and have laser work done together.

After our visit to Alec's office we all went out to lunch at Mongolian BBQ.  The food was good, but poor little Reggie was not a happy camper.  He did not want to be happy at all and so poor Andrea did not even get to eat lunch her lunch.  He even screamed to get in his car seat, but the moment, the very moment we started driving, he went straight to sleep.  It's odd for him to behave this way too because he is always so good.  He must be a tired little boy.  Hope he's happier the rest of the week.

Papa Fell

 Yesterday John was running as per usual.  He usually runs around our green.  Then he continues on to a little lake nearby, around it and then home.  While he was running around the lake he  didn't see something in his path and fell right on his face.  He came home all bloody.  He has also hurt his knee .He didn't want to go to urgent care but when Andrea came home she said he needed to and they went off together.  They cleaned him up and said they couldn't tell if his nose is broken because it is so swollen.  It will take a few weeks for the swelling to go down and then he might have to go to a ear, nose, and throat Dr.  Luckily he didn't break his teeth or his glasses.  Poor guy!

Oquirrh Mt and Jordan River Temples

We, together with our dearest friends the Andersons, decided to visit some Temples together.  A couple of weeks ago we went to the Oquirrh Mt. Temple.

 Last month we also wanted to go there and checked the times and all was clear.  However, when we got there, the temple was closed.  So we quickly changed our plans and went to the Jordan River Temple.  Both of these temples are very beautiful.  In fact I think all temples are beautiful.

 A temple is a place where people go to have sacred ordinances performed.  Many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints go to the temple to get married.  There they can be married for time and all eternity by one who has the proper authority to perform such a marriage.  Baptisms for the dead are also performed in temples.  These baptisms are done so that every person who has ever lived on this earth can have the opportunity to either accept or reject the principles and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 The day we were at the temple there were about 6 couples walking around with their photographer having their wedding photos taken.  I always love to see all the beautiful brides.

After going through the temple we usually go out to lunch.  We have been having a really nice time together.
