My sweet Andrea had her 26th birthday today. Oh my goodness, where do the years go? They fly by much too fast. I remember so well the day she was carried off the airplane by her cute Irish lad escort who worked for Alaska Air. She was his very first baby. The crew were so excited, but not more excited than we were. He had her in the crook of his arm, walked down the tarmac from the airplane, and said, "Andrea, I want to introduce you to your parents." Then he handed her to me as the whole crew was applauding and we were all in tears. She was the cutest little baby. Andrea has been a joy to her family. We have loved her from that very first moment. She has always been friendly and a true friend. She has always taken care to see that everyone is happy. She is a good wife and mother and has been a good daughter. We have been so happy and grateful that Heavenly Father sent her to our family.
Sara has been Andrea's BFF since kindergarten. I had the privilege of watching over Sara and her little sister for many years. I love her as if she were my own daughter. She made this yummy b'day cake for Ang. Sara recently returned from serving in the Peace Corps. We had a nice little welcome home party for her, but sadly I did not get any pictures.
Both of these beautiful girls were very easy to take care of when they were little and fun to be around after they have grown. They have grown into beautiful young women. They have brought a lot of happiness into the lives of many people.
