More pictures in Rotterdam, Holland. This waterway was not frozen, but the canals were all frozen and there were kids skating on them just like we read about when we were studying in school and just like you see in movies like Hans Christian Andersen and Hans Brinker. It was so fun to see the kids having a ball.

It must be fun to see the kids skating--we can do that on our rivers here, too. (I don't skate ; ((((

i am sorry you guys have been sick -- I am sure that is one of the adjustments to knew areas -adjusting to new germs and dressing warm enough -- Do you wear long Johns all the time? My Mom loves her LJ under garments-- you guys will do great because w/ the Lord on your side you can't fail -- You are so perfect for this new adventure--- we continue to pray for you.
We used to skate a lot on our streams and ponds in Ohio while I was growing up---having been 7th in a family of 10 I always had someones old skates that fit me --usually hockey skates and they had no ankle support -- hmmm I wonder if that is what happened to my ankles LOL we never had matching gloves by the time they came to me -- we often wore socks:)well it was always fun for the first 30 minutes then I can remember hours and hours of frozen fingers and toes
